Dr. Dieter Schmidt holds two board certifications in dermatology after completing residencies at the University of Colorado and at the University of Stellenbosch. In addition, Dr. Schmidt is one of only two board certified surgeons in the county trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He completed his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of Colorado, one of the most prestigious Mohs Surgery programs in the country. As a result of his extensive background and work, Dr. Schmidt has been selected as one of the “Best Doctors in Washington State,” as well as one of the “Best Doctors in America” by his peers. He also holds the title of a “Top Doctor” in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine. Dr. Schmidt is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and holds the title of fellow at the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, among other affiliations.
